She doesn't look old enough, but Gillian has worked in the
travel and tourism industry for over 20 years.
Gillian started in the industry
as a travel agent and specialist travel consultant in Cambridge before moving onto senior marketing positions with Scottish
Borders Tourist Board and Perthshire Tourist Board.
Between 2001 and 2005, she ran the highly successful Gillian Harrower Marketing & PR consultancy, which offered marketing,
PR and project management services to a wide range of clients.
Gillian has led a number of major national and regional tourism initiatives and has particular specialisations
in project management and co-ordination and public relations.
In her spare time she is a dedicated gardener and something of a wine buff.
